Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
With a caddy top, above the four long graduated drawers.
Each drawer with a cockbeaded edge, with brass rosette and pineapple decorated handles, against well figured fronts. The drawers lined in good close grained oak.
The chest finished with concave and stepped moulding, above the four bracket feet.
Very good hard mahogany, and nice colour.
