Mid Victorian Acorn Leaf Negretti & Zambra Barometer

An impressive mid Victorian acorn leaf carved Negretti & Zambra barometer c.1885. Engraved silvered dial bearing the highly regarded maker's name, Negretti & Zambra of London (w.1850-1900) and numbered 29612. Silvered dial sat behind a quarter plate bevelled edge glass, mounted in a polished brass bezel with a ribbed brass centre reading marker. Superb acorn leaf carved solid oak case with moulded edges and brass hanging plate to the top. Fully overhauled movement, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 10.5" diameter x 3" deep.
