1930 Art Deco Sterling Silver Case

Description

Here we have a beautiful Art Deco Sterling Silver Case. It would be a stunning case for storing small items such as jewellery. It comes in a lovely presentation bag and would be a great gift.

It was made by John Rose and is Hallmarked for Birmingham 1930.

It has a lovely engineered pattern to the outside with a cartouche in the top corner bearing the initials DG.Inside it is gilded with the Hallmarks on both sides.

It has two elastic straps.It is lovely and shiny with just few small areas of tarnish.

It weighs 61.5g

It measures 8.6cm by 6.5cm (3.4 inches by 2.6 inches). The depth is 1.1cm (approx 0.4 inches). It would be ideal for storing or carrying small items around in.
