This bed is a lovely and truly one-of-a-kind Victorian king-size iron and brass bed. With a lovely oval shaped central decoration in the foot end with support castings with lovely brass faces.
The remaining castings on the bed have lovely shaping and definition and the brass collars are shaped and topped with lovely individually shaped brass knobs with their honourable signs of wear and use.
This bed has been fully restored to be beautiful and functional, we have extended the side rails to accommodate for modern length mattresses. All joints checked for good, secure fit.
Suitable for standard king size 5'' x 6''6'' /150cm x 200cm mattress size.
Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish Farrow and Ball’s Hague Blue colour, which has been waxed and buffed well to protect and shine.

Price includes wood slats ...(sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 30 years.
We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
