This is a beautiful antique Chinese (Qing) botanical watercolour dating from the mid 19th Century. The well executed painting depicts insects and a butterfly surrounded by native flora.The watercolour is in strong gouache colours on pith and is presented in a neat wooded frame with a soft green mount.
