I have for sale an 1890 French striking and repeating alarm carriage clock made in France around 1880.
The Case

The original oval base plate is in place with old repair service marks engraved onto it.
The Dial
The dial is in good condition white porcelain with Roman numerals, the face is crack free and the clock also retains its original black spade hands.

The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time and strike which strikes the hours and halves via a blue steel gong to the rear also has the repeater button on top to repeat the last hour strike, the movement has been serviced and oiled so keeping great time over the eight days.

Overall a stunning quality carriage clock by a quality French maker that looks great on display and contains all of its original features is quite a rare find these days.
