Sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Bears the makers name for highly regarded instrument maker J. H. Steward, London to the dial. Steward is recorded in Banfield's working between 1869 and 1888. Fully serviced and working, presented in excellent condition with a deep shine to the case. Measures 6.5" diameter x 2" deep.
