Superb Edwardian Sheraton Inlaid Banjo Barometer

A superb Edwardian period mahogany Sheraton inlaid banjo barometer made by highly regarded maker Negretti & Zambra c.1900. Silvered engraved dial bearing the maker's name, Negretti & Zambra of London (w.1850-1900) The polished figured mahogany case with architectural pediment to the top, brass finial set in between. The case strung with fruitwood and inlaid with Sheraton style inlays. Aneroid movement with engraved silvered scale bearing the makers name, sat behind a bevelled glass view window with centre reading marker mounted in a polished brass bezel. Superior quality and presented in immaculate condition; full working order. Measures 7" wide x 2.5" deep x 26" long.
