Finchingfield Antiques has dated this Victorian Drum Dial Clock to the 19th Century.
This would have been a very time consuming and costly process but the end result would last for hundreds of years. This is worth mentioning because ninety nine percent of dial clocks would have had a simple painted iron dial . Fine quality brass, eight day, spring and chain driven movement. We believe the clock was commissioned by Pearson & Price to perhaps hang in their up-market sop at 11 Great Sutton street, London. Fully serviced with one years guarantee.
