Antique Silver George II Bullet Teapot Made in 1750

Description

A wonderful George II antique silver teapot of bullet form onto a circular foot.

The flush hinged lid and top is engraved with the original scroll and mask decoration.

The lid has a fruit wood finial and the pot retainers its wooden handle.

The teapot has an impressive spout with a plain applied moulded border to the lip.

This is one of the finest examples of a bullet teapot we have ever owned.

Dimensions: width from handle to spout 20.5 cm, height to finial 10.5 cm.

Weight including handle 13.5 troy oz.
