Where were these tables used originally?

These tables served primarily in French cafes, Victorian conservatories, and English country house gardens. Their weather-resistant construction of iron and stone suited them for outdoor dining, potting tasks, and conservatory displays.

How do I identify a Victorian table?

Victorian examples frequently display heavy cast iron construction with ornate patterning, sometimes linked to specific designer aesthetics. They often pair with marble tops or wooden surfaces dating from the nineteenth century.

Can these tables stay outside year-round?

Cast iron and painted metal frames withstand outdoor elements well, though marble tops benefit from protection during harsh winter frosts. Regular maintenance of the painted finish helps preserve the metal beneath.

What styles are available here?

The selection includes French bistro, French provincial, Victorian wirework, and Edwardian styles. Forms range from simple round cafe tables to console tables and complete garden dining sets.
