How should I hang a large watercolor landscape?

Ensure the glass and frame are securely hung using appropriate hardware suitable for the weight of the timber and moulding.

What periods do these paintings come from?

The selection spans from the Georgian era through the Victorian period and into the early twentieth century. This includes works created around the mid-nineteenth century up to the 1920s. Different decades reflect shifts in British landscape painting, moving from traditional topographical views towards looser impressionistic styles.
