What is a deco diamond cluster?

A deco diamond cluster is a piece of jewellery featuring a central diamond surrounded by smaller stones, designed during the geometric Art Deco era. These configurations emphasise symmetry, clean lines, and contrasting gemstone pairings like sapphires or emeralds.

How do I wear a cluster ring?

Cluster rings sit prominently on the hand due to their broad face and multi-stone arrangement. They function well as standalone cocktail pieces or dress rings that draw the eye without needing supplementary stacking bands.

Are these pieces made of platinum?

Many items from this period utilise platinum because its strength permitted delicate, intricate metalwork. Other examples combine platinum tops with white or yellow gold shanks to achieve specific tonal contrasts.

How do I identify Art Deco jewellery?

Art Deco pieces display distinct geometric motifs, including squares, navettes, and sharp angular symmetry. The integration of calibre-cut coloured stones alongside pavé-set diamonds further signals this specific design movement.
