How do I hang a heavy brass lantern safely?

Suspension requires a structural ceiling joist or a suitable metal toggle anchor capable of supporting the combined weight of the metal frame and glass panels. Professional installation by an electrician ensures the internal wiring and ceiling hook match the load requirements of the specific fixture.

Where should I place a hanging hall lantern?

These fixtures suit entrance halls, high stairwells, and vestibules where vertical clearance allows the piece to hang without obstruction. Positioning the lantern centrally draws the eye upward and provides balanced ambient illumination for transition spaces.

How do I clean the glass panels safely?

Remove dust with a soft, dry cloth before applying a mild glass cleaner directly to the cloth rather than spraying the fixture. Avoid getting moisture onto the antique metal surfaces or electrical components to preserve the original finish.
