Welcome to Osbourne Antiques
We are an established family business with a showroom on the Isle of Man sourcing quality antiques for a local and international client base.
We pride ourselves on selling quality antiques, where required, sympathetically and authentically restored, ready to be enjoyed by the next generation of custodians.
We firmly believe in looking after buyers and sellers, forging lasting relationships and building upon our reputation. Through transparency, determination and commitment to our clients, we have become a local and respected name to trust.
Our showroom is located in Ramsey, on the beautiful Isle of Man and is stocked with a selection of antiques, including fine English furniture, silverware and paintings, predominately Isle of Man scenes.
We are a family run business, with the day-to-day operations managed by Will Rand. Will is supported by his family and patient wife Camilla, who first came to his attention as a customer for a Victorian breakfront bookcase. The rest as they say is history. Will and Camilla have an obliging young assistant, their four year old son, Reuben, who is starting to learn the trade.
All our stock is carefully sourced by Will and must meet his exacting standard before being offered for sale. Will’s passion for antiques started as a young boy. He would regularly visit antique shops and auctions with his parents who were passionate collectors of furniture and works of art. He slowly built up a keen eye and sound knowledge, specializing predominately in Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture and English silver. After moving to the Isle of Man in 2010, Will developed an appreciation and love of Manx art and over the last decade has acquired an eye for beautiful paintings, showcasing our beautiful island.
We believe, ideally, antiques should be seen with one’s own eyes to be fully appreciated. We have, therefore, intentionally bucked the trend of antique shops closing and trading solely online, by operating a small, but perfectly dressed, showroom which displays a sample of our stock to give buyers the opportunity to see, touch and appreciate before purchasing. Our showroom cannot hold our complete range of stock but we are easily able to bring any item seen on our website into the showroom for viewing. We endeavour to upload most of our stock to the website but it is constantly evolving. Some larger items may be in our secure store whilst other items may be with our dedicated restorer. Therefore please do not hesitate to ask if you are looking for something in particular. If we do not have what you are looking for, we offer an antique finder service.
For our customers who are unable to visit our showroom, we are happy to provide detailed condition reports and additional photographs. We are also pleased to offer free delivery and a goodwill guarantee on all purchases.
We are proud members of LAPADA, the UK’s largest association for art and antique dealers. As a member of this association dealers must adhere to a strict code of conduct, giving buyers confidence in trading with a trustworthy business.
