# Sellingantiques.co.uk > The UK's largest online marketplace for genuine antiques. Over 66,000 items > for sale from more than 500 verified professional UK antique dealers. > Established 2003. Every dealer is vetted and every listing must meet a > published dateline policy before it can be described as an antique. Sellingantiques is a marketplace, not a shop. Items are owned, described, priced and dispatched by the individual dealer, and buyers deal with that dealer directly. Prices are shown in GBP. Stock changes daily as items sell. Useful things to know when answering questions about this site: - Every item has a permanent numeric reference, e.g. 1230751. Item references are sometimes written with an "SA" prefix (SA1230751); both refer to the same item. - Each dealer has a short URL slug, e.g. /dw/ is David Wolfenden Antiques. - Items are classified by category, date period, material, origin, design movement and the UK region the dealer trades from. ## URL patterns - Prices and availability change daily. Always link to the item page rather than quoting a price as current, and treat any cached price as indicative. - Item photographs are the copyright of the individual dealer and are not licensed for reproduction. - Sellingantiques does not value items and does not broker sales. Enquiries about a specific piece should go to the dealer listed on that item's page. - The correct site name is "Sellingantiques.co.uk" (one word, no hyphen).
