"Without Jonathan's support and expertise I would probably still be wondering where to start on the clearance of my Aunt's home. Jonathan came highly recommended and it was clear immediately that he was both expert and of high integrity. In addition to his gentle and engaging nature he quickly convinced of his knowledge across a range of antiquities and with his access to expertise from other specialists he could meet our complete requirements. I was able to confidently entrust the whole process of clearance and sale of the contents to Jonathan who kept me regularly informed of progress. The modest additional cost of engaging Jonathan rather than managing the process myself with the local auction house was worth every penny and I suspect with his experience this was more than recovered by enhanced sale proceeds."

"Whilst searching the internet for an antique rocking chair I chanced upon a very attractive English chair made of fruitwood with a woven cane seat.
I made an offer and delivery arrangements agreed. A day or two later, the vendor emailed that he wasn't happy with the condition of the chair as the canework wasn't as good as he'd thought. He said that he would undertake the work at no extra charge if we were prepared to wait.
A few weeks later I received a photo of the now re-caned rocking chair and delivery was made. The chair really does look very good and my wife is delighted to own such a wonderful piece of English history dating from the mid 1800s.
Many thanks to AJD Antiques for an excellent job, together with great service."

"It is always refreshing to meet a new face in the antiques business who cares about his customers, whether he is buying or selling for them. Jonathan Dyas has recently decided to share his long-term interest and knowledge of antiques with a wider audience and offers a professional, trust-worthy service."

"AJD Antiques offers a fully-integrated, professional service and I cannot praise them highly enough. They handled my lifetime's collection of precious (and not-so precious) antiques when I moved to the US; they organised the international shipment and insurance of all the goods I wanted to move and sold the rest according to their value from Bonhams to online auction sites. Best prices were achieved throughout with transparency in all fees. Negotiations were done in a straight-forward, sensitive manner, and minimised my anxiety during this emotional time. 10 out of 10 for AJD Antiques."

"AJD Antiques were able to manage the sympathetic restoration of a much-loved cabinet-maker's fitted tool chest belonging to my great-grandfather."

"I want to thank you for all the work you did on my behalf over the last few, rather difficult months. Your "hands on" approach, including visiting my parents home and helping with the valuation of furniture etc was invaluable, especially as I was dealing with other siblings. .................. Your expertise, sensitivity and complete honesty is an invaluable package and in itself a rare find.
In these litigious days, we have, as a company ceased to give recommendations about service providers, however if you are asked for a reference by a potential client, give them my contact details so that I can convince them your company is the one to use."
