Alfred Thomas of 9 college street Gloucester was a noted Victorian taxidermist who often used to great effect the decorative picture frame style of case, his small trade label can just be seen pasted to the back drop amongst the groundwork. The simple Budgie being an exotic bird in its day, and much coveted by Victorian society.
