The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a good quality 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. You can sometimes hear the rotor moving round.
The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is some rubbing to the gold plate but you have to look closely to see it.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and a date display at 6 o’clock (not quickset).
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
