Description

A wide Victorian hinged silver cuff from the Aesthetic era (c.1880s) beautifully engraved on the front half with a scrolling foliate design typical of the period and engraved MAL on the reverse. A very wearable piece.

SIZE: Internal circumference is approx 7 inches (18cm); width 2.5cm.

WEIGHT: 29.9g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None (tested).

CONDITION: The bangle is in very good antique condition with no major dents, just normal minor surface wear and a lovely patina to the silver (see photos). The hinge looks very slightly out of alignment when seen from above but we mention that purely for accuracy, the bangle opens easily and closes securely, both the hinge and clasp are in good working order.
