The handbag is lined with simulated suede. It opens to reveal a fixed inner purse, which in turn opens to reveal a second inner purse, partly lined with cream goatskin. Within the second inner purse is the small separate crocodile purse (not quite big enough to hold a bank card). The handbag is closed with a functioning zip and press studs. The handle is adjustable but is best kept close to the top of the handbag by means of a press stud. The handle has softened somewhat with use but this is commensurate with age. A remarkable survivor from the era between WWI and WWII.
