She loved all things Scottish and spent much time in the Highlands and Cairngorm mountains where these Scottish pebble stones were collected. This brooch dates from after Victoria's era, and it is a style which has proved enduringly popular.

This brooch is stamped with the ALLD sponsor's mark and has full hallmarks for sterling silver, Birmingham 1925.
The piece is in very good antique/vintage condition and fastens with a typical C clasp.
