Sold by: Mark Seabrook Antiques

This is one of the best early brass ''seal top'' spoons I have bought....it dates from the reign of Elizabeth 1....and has been stamped in the bowl with the makers mark, which is a little like a fleur-de-lys... so maybe some connection to the French.... in excellent condition with no damage...a real collectors piece..!

English. C1570-90.
