Early 20thc Cast Iron Dog Doorstop

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1910-1930 a heavy and well defined cast iron doorstop in good condition.

It measures 20cm in height, approximately 23cm in width and the depth is about 11cm. He weighs about 3.4kgs.

The previous owner painted the dog brown and added white facial details leaving white paint streaks over the body. We had the doorstop cleaned back to the original iron.

The details of the dog's face are excellent, showing quality casting. On the back the numbers 180 can be seen clearly.
