A Rare Set of 6 Georgian York Silver Teaspoons

A rare set of six silver fiddle pattern silver teaspoons. These lovely examples were assayed at the desirable York Office and have an engraved initial to the top of the shank.

Flatware is rather scarce nowadays due to the great losses, caused by the unscrupulous melting of antique silver for scrap. Therefore a matching set of six from one of the most sought after Assay Offices, is a good find. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits or dents.The bowl tips are good.
