A Very Small, Triple Pad-top, Fusee Bracket Clock Timepiece In A Mahogany Case. circa 1925.

A very attractive and good quality early 20th century mantel or table clock.
 
The very substantial, 8 day duration, chain fusee timepiece movement with Anchor Recoil escapement and upper operated micrometer pendulum regulation.
 
Behind only a 4 3/4'' wide, break-arch brass dial with gilded, cast brass, winged cherub corner spandrels and ''punch'' arch spandrels. The arch having a silvered brass circular cartouche bearing ''Tempus Fugit'' with a floral border and the silvered brass chapter ring has small, outer Arabic 5''s, a divided minute track and inner Roman hour numerals with diamond half hour divisions. The centre is finely matted and the steel hands are matching ''pike head''.
 
Contained in an excellent quality mahogany case. The break-arch top has 3 double-raised mahogany pads, the centre of which bears a cast brass, swinging carrying handle.
