A pair of early 18th Century Walnut and marquetry inlaid side chairs. C1720.

This English pair of high curved back chairs with vase-shaped back splats expressing carved foliage and bird motifs above tapestry seats raised on front “hipped” Spanish style cabriole legs with squared knees, ending in pad feet, joined by turned stretchers.

Offered in overall good condition with age related wear, structurally sound and upholstery is also good.
