Description

A 19th Century Bronze Neo Classical Oval Tazza Shaped Centre Bowl.

With a beaded rim, over the rounded body, the body decorated with engraved and chased anthemion, the boy sweeping to a beaded collar, before the open acanthus stand, with chased detail. The acanthus spreading in a concave curve to meet the conforming plinth, finished with a beaded edge as per the bowl. The ends with rising and scrolling open acanthus mounted handles.

Date circa 1870.
