A silver Armada trinket dish in the classic style with two inscribed circles to the rim and the dimpled centre. These dishes were first seen in Elizabethan times when the British fleet defeated the Spanish Armada but continue to have popular appeal as elegant trinket dishes or maybe for serving bonbons or gracing a festive table. The dish is hallmarked for London 1964 with the makers mark for Carrington and Co. and is in good vintage condition
