A stunning large Edwardian Sterling silver basket with a plethora of embossed or repousse decoration featuring four wonderful Lion's heads, so very British. The sides also incorporate some pierced or reticulated work.

There is a clear hallmark for Birmingham 1908, making this an Edwardian example, together with the makers initials W.G.K. for the silversmith, W G Keight.

Quite stunning and grand measuring 11 3/4" x 8 1/4"; weighing 284.8 Grams or 9.19 Troy Ounces.
