Georgian Silver Vinaigrette - Very Small

18th century
Description

This is a very small circular silver vinaigrette.

Bright cut decoration to the top and the base and to the edges both top and bottom.

No marks, circa 1780-1800.

Owners initials to top and bottom shows it has probably been passed from one person to another.

Pull off top reveals a grill, remains of gilding to the inside, lid fits well.

Lovely condition, a rare size, small repair to grill.

Diameter 2 cm

Depth 1.8 cm
