Description

An Edwardian mahogany cased mantel clock of smaller proportions. Mahogany veneers to the rounded top case of Georgian design. Brass bun feet. A brass carrying handle. A butterfly or moth marquetry inlay to the front panel and boxwood line inlays. An enamel dial, brass bezel and convex glass with blued steel hands. A brass fretted back door. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong marked Marti, Paris. Circa 1910.
