Very rare late 17th. century German silver wine taster of slightly lobed form with shaped and decorated side handles. Simple repouse decoration to bowl. Indistinctly marked on handle (HP??) and in base of bowl. All in fine original condition with no repairs. Probably Nuremberg.
Size; 0.75" high, 4.5" wide across handles. 2.25" bowl diameter.
