Grand Large Pair English Silver Plated Candlesticks C.1860

Description

A wonderful interpretation of the traditional Corinthian Column Candlesticks, these are modelled to simulate bamboo with highly decorative bases.

They are an impressive size standing 12 1/2" tall with a base measuring 5" square. The base is decorated with a floral garlands and foliate detail with beaded borders complimenting the design of the removable drip trays.

Dating to around 1860, they remain in superb condition. As useful as beautiful.
