Delightful Macintyre & Co Porcelain Egg-shaped Salt Shaker, Circa 1880

Description

This is a charming and unusual MacIntyre porcelain egg-shaped salt cellar. The small speckled egg, an ochre colour with brown specks and painted with a now rather faint gilt 'S' for Salt. The base with porcelain screw stopper painted on the underside with RD number 10588

Condition:

Porcelain body in excellent condition.

Screw stopper very good condition.

Dimensions:

Height: 5cm / 2 inches.

Width: 3.5cm / 1.4 inches.
