Description

Gents 1950s Winegartens Visualmatic automatic wrist watch with power reserve indicator.

Winegartens was a retailer based in Bishopsgate, London, EC2, and they sold private label pieces such as this under their own name.

The watch has a 17-jewel automatic movement, calibre AS 1382N, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just light surface marks, nothing serious at all.

The case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, red centre seconds hand and power reserve indicator. There is some age related darkening to the dial but still easy to read the time.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
