An Extremely Rare Novelty Silver Table Vesta

An extremely rare novelty Victorian silver table vesta. The body is formed to represent a grand piano and has repousse decoration, featuring classical scenes. The hinged keyboard cover opens to reveal the striker and the lid opens to reveal the compartment for matches. Dutch in origin, there are London import marks, allowing an accurate date. A wonderful and unusual collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. The lids close well and the hinges are strong.
