Rare Silver Whisky Tot Label by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths. London 1913

Description

This delightful and very unusual small kidney-shaped silver whisky tot label for "Cherry Whisky" is dated London 1913 and made by the reputed Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company . The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd was a reputed High Street jeweller with Royal Appointments. They were situated in Regent Street, London and amalgamated with Garrards in 1952.

Hallmarks:

G&SCo Ltd for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company.

Lion Passant.

London Assay mark.

Date letters "s" for 1913.

Dimensions:

Labels: 3.5cm x 1 cm.

Chain: 10 cm round.

Condition:

Excellent.
