Description

A very pretty late-19th century brooch depicting a woman in side profile in typical Art Nouveau style, with an unusual sunrise background.

The clasp is stamped with tiny French boar's head denoting small objects made of a minimum 800 fineness silver (1838-1984). The side of the medallion is marked ARGENT (silver).

The brooch is in very good antique condition with working C clasp and steel pin. Surface wear consistent with age.

Size: approx 2.8 x 2.8cm (just over an inch wide).

Weight: 10.8g.
