Description

This 18th C. Carved Oak Mule Chest provides plenty of storage space within plus two deep drawers with original brass handles.  It has a decorative carved diamond design on the lid, front and drawers and the lid lifts to reveal fragments of lining paper.
In original condition it does show scarring, wear to the feet where it has once stood on a damp floor and signs of historic woodworm in places, all things you would expect from a piece that is over 200 years old but it remains nice and sturdy.
Such a lovely and useful piece of country furniture.
