Description

An Art Nouveau silver photo frame from the Edwardian era with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1904 and makers mark for James Deakin & Sons. The hallmarks are impressed on the bottom left of the frame. The silver frame displays a sinuous organic design of stylised leaves, stems, and fruits, with vacant cartouches at the top and bottom of the frame. The top of the frame is gently arched, and the silver is mounted on a sturdy oak easel back. In very good condition.
