Description

A fine quality French mahogany envelope card table by Lampre of Paris. Of excellent construction in solid mahogany with stunning "plum pudding" mahogany veneers. With brass banding and inlay and fitted with crisply cast ormolu mounts. With a pair of opposing drawers and all standing on elegant turned and fluted legs. Offered for sale in excellent original condition, with a rich colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.

This table was previously sold at Christies of London on 06 January 2009 for £2500 plus 30 % buyers premium.
