Decorative Silver Plated Chamberstick - Art Nouveau C.1890

Description

A most unusual and highly decorative chamber stick made from silverplate in a beautiful organic stylized form. The foliate handle leads to a central floral head in which sits the removable drip tray.

There is a single armorial crest engraved into the base, I think the initials are G F or F G with a regal looking crown above it.

Quite exquisite and in excellent condition dating to c.1890, late Victorian in era measuring 8" including handle x 4 3/4" x 2 1/4" tall.
