Electroplate Victorian Tea Caddy Made in C.1860

Description

A fine Victorian electroplate oval-shaped tea caddy with beaded borders and beautifully turned decoration.

To the centre is a garter cartouche bearing a family crest of a stag (almost certainly a Scottish family).

The caddy is also fitted with a lock (no key) as tea was still a precious commodity.

The caddy is in superb condition.
