Description

These unusual Arts & Craft Scottish silver salad servers are dated Edinburgh 1942 and bears the marks of Catherine L. Charles. The planished oval bowls with slim square shaped handles terminating in a striking finial, very mcu in the Arts & Craft style.

Hallmarks:

C.L.C for Catherine L. Charles.

Edinburgh Assay Mark.

Thistle.

Date letter "M" for 1942.

Dimensions:

Length: 22cm / 8.4 inches.

Bowls: 6cm x 5cm

Condition:

Very good.

Minor surface scratching commensurate with age.
