We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Georgian bowfront corner cabinet is an 18th-century storage piece with a convex curved front, designed specifically to hang on a wall or sit within a 90-degree room corner.

These cabinets were predominantly crafted from mahogany or oak, often decorated with satinwood inlays, boxwood stringing, and brass H-hinges or oval escutcheons.

Authentic pieces feature hand-planed pine or oak backboards shaped for right-angle corners, hand-cut joinery, historic brass fittings with natural oxidisation, and original timber shrinkage.

An antique wall corner cabinet can be mounted in a dining room, hallway, or kitchen alcove to utilise unassigned vertical space for displaying glassware or storing tableware.

Maintain mahogany timber by dusting regularly with a dry microfibre cloth and applying a microcrystalline or beeswax polish once per year while keeping the item clear of direct heat and moisture.
