Antique English Equestrian Horseshoe Shaped Pocket Watch Holder C.1880

Description

A wonderful Victorian pocket watch stand retaining it's original folding easel stand which would have made this example one easy to travel with.

Made from a polished rose coloured brass, the "nails" have been enamelled in Lapis Lazuli colour, there are a couple of small chips to the enamelling (mentioned for accuracy); the brass has been professionally re-polished to gleam.

The circular lined aperture for the watch to sit has a diameter measuring 1 1/2", the watch shown is not included and for photographic purposes only.

Excellent condition, measuring 4" x 4".
