A fine set of Victorian silver asparagus tongs in the King''s pattern with reeded detailing to all the edges and angles and with attractive pierced blades with a scrolling vine type pattern. Hallmarked for London 1841, maker Charles Lias.
They measure 26.5cm (10 3/8'') long, 6.3cm (2 1/2'') deep and 3cm (1 1/8'') wide and weigh 219g / 7.0ozt.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and only minor handling wear.
