Technical Description
A very unusual mid-19th century glass wine carafe.
It has a gilded poring rim with gilded stars throughout. It also has a white opaque cartouche with a hand painted enamelled and gilded knight in red and gold with blue feather flumes. Polished pontil.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips, cracks or restoration. Clean and clear.
