Pair of Silver Candlesticks 1909

1900 - 1920
Description

A Pair of Silver Candlesticks.

Each with a lift out drip pan, of scallop shape, quartered by spreading leaves. The drip pans fitting within ringed vase shaped candle holders. The waisted and ringed socles, resting on a shaped stem of rising leaves, topped by a knop, the quarters decorated with spreading leaves. The stems finished with an ogee orb, and ringed socle, before the bases, spreading in a stepped and scallop shape, with scrolling leaves to each quarter. The undersides with an enclosed and sealed bulls eye base.

Hallmarked for the Goldsmith & Silversmiths Company, London 1909.

Height 9 3/4 inches, 25cm.
